Hi, I'm Ventura! When I first came to SCARS, they thought I was a girl! Probably because I am super pretty. I was very scared when I first got to my foster home, but after lots of patience from my foster mom, I am much more confident now and love to get pets. I am still a little bit confused by love and sometimes (gently) bite foster mom's fingers, but I am just learning. I am also still pretty timid and am startled easily, but I am getting braver every day! I would prefer a home with no young children, but older kids and calm, confident cats or dogs would be okay. As long as you respect my space when I need it, I'll be happy! I need a family that will continue to help me grow more confident. Foster mom thinks that when I'm more comfortable, I might end up being pretty playful! If you're looking for an adult kitty that still needs some patience and love, please consider adopting me!
