Hi, I'm Barton! I'm a pretty laid-back cat, but I can be a bit timid when I first meet you. I really am a huge lovebug. You can hear me purring from across the room! I love to rub up against you to get pets. I can still get a bit startled by loud noises or sudden movements. Calm cats and dogs would be ok and children who are respectful of cats are also fine! My ideal family would also help get me to a healthy weight, as I am a little bit pudgy. Lots of play would help with that. Then after play we can cuddle. If you're looking for an adult kitty that just needs some patience and love, please consider adopting me! I would be a great addition to any home!
