Hello there… my name is Leopold. 💙 I’m a handsome 2-year-old brown tabby boy with what many people call the best grumpy cat face. Don’t let that serious expression fool you though — underneath it all, I’m a big teddy bear with a soft heart. When I first came into care, I was pretty nervous and unsure about the world around me. New places and new people can be a lot for a sensitive guy like me. With a little patience and kindness, I’ve started to relax and show who I really am. Once I feel safe, I absolutely love settling in for long naps, soaking up gentle ear scratches, and turning on my amazing purr motor — I’ve been told I have the best purrs. I get along well with other cats and would be happy to share my home with a feline friend. I’m not sure how I feel about dogs yet, so that part is still a mystery. I’m very polite with my litter box and take my housekeeping duties seriously. Because I can be shy and easily overwhelmed, I’d do best in a calm home with older children who understand that sometimes I need my space and a slow approach. If you approach slowly and be patient with me, I promise it’s worth the wait.
