Hello! I’m Twyla, and yes—it’s true—I’m kind of the boss around here. Someone has to keep things organized. I’m a smart girl and I actually choose my crate when I want some quiet time. I also have a very funny little snort that comes out when I’m whining for attention (sounds like a little piglet). I am fairly independent, but when I'm ready for a belly rub or a cuddle, I come right over and am the sweetest, gentlest girl when I want to let you know I''m ready for downtime. I’m about 6 weeks old at the time of writing this post. I was found at a worksite up North with my Mom and siblings and the kind workers called SCARS to help out. My mom is Moira (adoptable through SCARS). I live with my puppy siblings Jocelyn and Roland, an older Lab who keeps us in line (or does her best to ignore us), and two kids (8 and 10 years old) who give us lots of love and playtime. I’m confident, curious, affectionate, and always paying attention to what’s going on around me. I’ll be spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption around mid-January (although you could come visit me before that if you are interested and submit your application for approval). If you’re looking for a clever pup with leadership potential and a great sense of humor, I think we’d get along very well.
