Meet Fri! Fri is a 3-year-old shepherd mix with a true heart of gold. Gentle, thoughtful, and incredibly sweet, he’s the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to bond deeply with his person. While he’s still polishing up his leash manners, Fri is wonderful at checking in to make sure you’re right there with him, he genuinely wants to walk with you. This handsome boy is very food motivated, which will make training a fun and rewarding experience for both of you. With consistent guidance and patience, Fri is sure to blossom into a confident, well-mannered companion. Fri can be a little nervous about the big, wide world, but every day he grows braver and more secure. He tries so hard, and it’s impossible not to root for him as he takes those small but meaningful steps forward. His past is mostly a mystery, though we do know he came to us thanks to a kind RCMP officer from Driftpile. Fri would likely thrive as a solo boy soaking up all the love, but he may also do well in a home with a calm, confident, pre-established female dog who can help show him the ropes and boost his confidence. Fri is ready for a fresh start and a family who will offer safety, love, and gentle encouragement.
