Hi, my name is Askew, I came to SCARS as a stray. In the dictionary, the word “askew” is defined as “not straight; crooked; out of alignment.” I will for sure admit to being a bit wonky sometimes, but my name came from the fact that I have a little crook in the tip of my tail, which you would never even notice unless you feel it! I am a curious, playful and fun “adolescent” who loves to explore and learn. I was very shy when I first came to my foster home, but I have blossomed into an outgoing and friendly guy who loves to be close to my people. My foster mom likes to watch me crash around when I play with all the toys here, but I also love just hanging out and looking out the window or sitting beside her while we watch TV together. I also love to be close to the two resident cats here, so I will be happiest in a home with other cats. I haven’t met any dogs since coming to SCARS, so I don’t know how I feel about them. My foster mom doesn’t have any children, but she thinks I will be great with kids, as long as they treat me well. I am not a picky eater, and I am good at using my litter box. I am healthy and strong, I have been neutered and I have all my vaccines. I had a rough start, but I plan to enjoy a long and healthy life, and I would love to be your new best friend!
