Hi my name is Jake! I’m a cuddle bug and I’d love nothing more than to curl up at your side or on your lap. You can also win my heart through a game of tug-of-war or treats! I’m super friendly and I love playing with other dogs and people. I get along with cats, too! I’d do best in a home with an energetic female dog who can help me build my confidence. I get so excited when I meet new friends that I sometimes forget my manners, so I'm working on learning personal space and keeping all my paws on the ground when I say hi. But, I'm very food motivated so all I need is a tasty incentive and I learn quickly! In general, I’m an energetic boy, but I settle down after a nice walk or play session. I love ice cubes and shredding cardboard boxes, too. I’m also crate trained.
