Calling orange cat fans! I’m Cliff and I am bonded with my sister Marsh. We look and act a lot alike - happy but shy female kittens. You know how they say with great effort comes great reward? We came into SCARS completely bewildered. To us people were something to fear, to run and hide from. Slowly over the past few months our foster home has worked to socialize us, and it’s been slow but steady progress. We like to hang out with people now, I am showing a lot of potential for cuddles, (especially when I am just waking up) and I have been picked up for short cuddles. Marsh is more hands off! She will run to the other side of the room if you try to pet her, at least right now. We are both getting a bit more receptive every day and someday it will be very rewarding for whomever has invested time and patience. We both enjoy most other cats, we especially love the boys, no problem cuddling with them! We would do well in a home with another friendly and confident cat to show us how nice humans can be - we rub up against the boy cats for attention and companionship and curl up with them like a security blanket. Toys are great too, and we are very playful. It’s not known how we would do with dogs. We use our scratching post, and we use a clean litter box diligently. We would do well in a home with only adults or older kids. If you currently own a friendly male cat who would like some best friends, we will make a great addition.
