Meet Gritty! Gritty is a bright, curious, Velcro-puppy who loves greeting every person and dog she meets. She’s friendly, wiggly, and full of enthusiasm. Around the house she sticks close, following her people from room to room. She walks well on leash but gets a bit too excited when she sees new friends and may lunge in for a hello. On walks she’s alert and observant—pausing to take in anything unfamiliar—not scared, just thoughtful. She’s still unsure about crates and car rides, but she’s very smart and already picking up new routines. Gritty is gentle outside of typical puppy play, and she’s learning quickly that humans aren’t for biting (still needs some practice!). After day one she hasn’t had a single accident in the house, especially now that she knows how to signal and navigate the stairs to the door. She gives full-body wiggles when she sees her people and loves food a lot—fast eater, slightly pushy, extremely motivated. She enjoys being pet, though she’s usually too busy exploring to snuggle unless she’s very tired. Overall: happy, bright, eager, sweet, energetic, and wonderfully trainable.
