Meet Diablo or DB for short! Just look at this lovable goober and trust us when we say that he is the sweetest snuggle bug you’ll ever meet! DB is a 3-year-old bulldog–mastiff mix with a giant kissable head, a giant heart, and an even bigger love for belly rubs. This fella didn’t have the best start to life, and despite coming to SCARS with a few scrapes and bruises (all of which have been fully treated) DB has never let his past dim his loving spirit. This adorable lug is a certified cuddle champion, a perfect nap buddy and within minutes he will be snoring in your lap. DB loves people, loves attention, and loves being close to his humans more than anything. He gets along great with the two large female dogs in his foster home and completely adores the two young kids (8 and 4 years old) that he plays with and loves tremendously. He never jumps up on people and always approaches new humans slowly and friendly with a wagging tail. When it comes time for food/treats, he always waits his turn and takes his treats SO gently. This fella is truly an amazing boy in so many ways. Due to his size this sweet boy needs to be on some easy/inexpensive pain killers (gabapentin & meloxicam) for his hips & joints to keep him comfortable and from being so stiff. The great thing though is that he takes his meds like a true champ without issue. He is also currently on a sensitive tummy kibble to just help him feel his best and is thriving. We know with the special kibble and meds, it sounds like this can be a bit much, but we promise you he’s 100% worth it. This boys’ cuddles and loving affection is honestly the most rewarding part of any day. He walks good on leash, loves a good car ride when joining you while you browse Canadian Tire or Winners and loves a good game of fetch in the backyard. DB is always extremely easy to please and just likes to be part of the family. He also is fully housetrained (not one accident in his foster home), sleeps all night on his dog bed without a peep and is a very easy-going guy that has never chewed anything when left out alone. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a huge heart, an irresistible squishy face, and world-class snuggle skills, this is your guy. He’s waiting to find his forever family who will love him just as much as he loves them, and trust us, that’s a lot.
