SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made, up to $5,000, will be matched dollar-for-dollar! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Cedar is a bright, affectionate girl who recently joined the SCARS family and is settling into her foster home with curiosity and heart. She’s learning the ropes of basic training and is picking things up quickly — especially crate training, which she’s doing well with both overnight and during the day. While she’s still adjusting to being alone when her humans leave, she’s making progress and gaining confidence. Walking on a leash is a brand-new adventure for Cedar, and she’s learning step by step. She’s house trained, though she’s still figuring out how to let you know when it’s time to go out. At three years old, she’s got plenty of puppy energy and loves to stay engaged — otherwise, she might find her own entertainment (like borrowing your shoes!). Cedar is respectful in the home, doesn’t climb on furniture, and sometimes gets a little chatty just to remind you she’s nearby. She’s a smart, loving companion who’s ready to keep learning and growing with a family who’ll cherish her playful spirit and gentle heart.
