SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made, up to $5,000, will be matched dollar-for-dollar! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi, I’m Dixie! I’m a young curious girl, I’ve lived my life outdoors. I need a home that will be patient and teach me the goodness of being allowed indoors. I need a little encouragement to come inside and go in my crate. Its takes me a bit to settle and quiet in my crate, but then I’m out like a light. I’m smart. And bouncy. After I learn my basic training, I might like to do agility. I like to chase after toys, I haven’t quite figured out the catch and retrieve part yet. My foster home is encouraging me to play and nibble on toys instead of hands. I’ll learn to redirect, I promise! This leash thing is new. Walking near loud and fast cars is also new and a little scary, but I’m eager to learn and will build my confidence with consistency in the right home. With my foster home, I’ve met a cat, a dog and a child. I’m curious and want to give them all love, I need to be reminded not to give them too much love. I love to come to you for a little snuggle and to give you a face kiss. I really enjoy being near you.
