SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made, up to $5,000, will be matched dollar-for-dollar! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hello! My name is Angel Baby. I came to SCARS when I was about 6 weeks old with a medical issue called rectal prolapse, and the amazing SCARS team has been caring for me ever since. I've bravely faced a couple of surgeries, and I'll be going in for a final procedure next week called a colopexy. It's a special surgery to make sure I'm all healed up and healthy for life, and I'll be spayed at the same time. After that, I'll be ready for my forever family! I’m quite a unique-looking girl! My foster mom thinks I might be a fawn Doberman mix because of my special coloring. Even though I’m still very young, I already have a big heart full of love. My foster parents call me a “velcro dog” because I always want to be close to them. I’m a snuggly, affectionate pup who loves cuddles. I’m also finding my voice—I’ve got an adorable collection of whines, groans, and trills to let you know what I want (usually more affection, because an hour of scritches just isn’t enough!). Like most puppies my age, I’ve got lots of energy and I love to chew! I can be a little nippy, so my new family will need to work with me on bite inhibition and puppy training! I love to play, explore, and of course, cuddle. As I grow, I’ll need plenty of mental and physical stimulation to keep me happy and healthy. I’m a smart little pup—I am food motivated and a quick learner! I use the pee pads very well and will probably be easy to potty train. I sleep through the night in my crate, love a good game of tug, have learned the command “sit” and I've even learned how to be a good friend to both dogs and cats, as my foster parents have a dog and four cats! My foster parents will be very sad to see me go because they say I am such a joy to be around and will make a family out there very happy!
