SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi, I'm Chestnut! I came to SCARS with my mom and four siblings. I can sometimes be shy, but I'm getting more confident every day! I love my foster mom, and I'm fine with her picking me up to hug me or to trim my nails. Like my siblings, I love to play! We play and play until we all crash and take a nice long nap together. I'd love to be adopted with one of my siblings, or go to a home with another confident cat, but I think I could learn to be an only kitty if you have enough time for me. I'm fine with my cat foster brother, but my big dog foster brother scares me a little bit. I'm still young though, so I can certainly learn to be brave around a dog if you have one. Like all kitties, I would definitely benefit from some more socialization. I'm still learning how to be brave! If you're looking for a sweet boy who loves to play, please consider adopting me!
