SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi, I'm Nutmeg (aka Nutter Butter)! I'm a very friendly little guy who loves to purr, loves cuddles, and makes adorable stompy biscuits at an artisanal level. I came into care from a home with plenty of friends (including my lil buddies Juniper and Anise), so I love having other kitties around. I've spent a little time around my foster home's resident kitties, and my foster parents are proud of how friendly and unreactive I am, even when they assert their boundaries. I'm a litter box champion, a hydration star, and I am happy to share kibble and pate with Anise and Junie. I haven't been introduced to small children or puppers yet. I like to give love nibbles and I'm learning how much is too much, but highly reactive kids and pets might not understand me yet. I'm told I'm quite handsome (and svelte and distinguished) with my intricate brown tabby coat and my wide little lion nose. As a bonus, you can get me while I'm still kitten soft !If you're looking for an affectionate buddy for a lifetime of snuggles, I'm your guy! XOXO, Nutmeg
