I don’t talk about my life before SCARS, so you’ll not get many answers. Let’s just say it’s been a big adjustment; just learning what safety feels like and to have regular meals I still don’t want to take for granted. I’ve learned I like routine and catch on quickly, I love going for walks and keeping up with the pee mail, foster mom says I’m so gentle on the leash. People passing, fast bikes and noisy cars don’t phase me. I’ve discovered some changes are not so big, like I can still wander in the house, from my own bedroom aka crate, to a big cushy bed close to my person to the entry way where I get to see all the action. I do my potty business outside but I rely on you to make the schedule. I will do best in a low energy house, probably it will take a little while longer to learn I don’t have anything to fear anymore. So no sudden movements, no cats, kids or energetic dogs. I’m pretty low energy, you see I have an old injury, neurological damage to my left hind leg, my brain doesn’t always know where my foot is, it may improve but it may not, at least it doesn’t cause any discomfort unless I miss a step ( so the fewer the better). I’m a perfect size, just look at my pretty coat, I’ll get you out and moving, I learn quick and with your patience and understanding, you will be my teacher and best friend. Who knows where we can go together.
