SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

My name is Sweetheart and I truly am aptly named. I'm a beautiful gal (approximately 4 years young) who came in as a stray with a very badly infected spay incision. Unfortunately no one came looking for me, but as sad as that is I'm super excited and anxious to find a purrfect home now that my infection has all cleared up. Just like my golden hued fur I have a heart of gold and an equally amazing personality. I'm part cuddle monster and part play fanatic. My favourite toys are plastic balls with bells inside. I love to chase, pounce and stash them under furniture like buried treasure. It's my thing! After a good play session I happily will climb into your lap and give you a gentle nudge or headbutt - my classy way of saying "Pet me, please!!" Whether you enjoy reading or catching up on your favourite shows I'll make sure to be by your side to keep you company. As I'm incredibly good natured I would make a great addition to any household. So if you are looking for a sweetie to call all your own then click that "Adopt Me" button. You will not be disappointed!!
