Meet A.K. – a tough cookie with a marshmallow heart! 🐾💕 Hi, I’m A.K.! I came into SCARS’ care on May 15 with one tiny baby in tow. After raising my sweet boy into a strong, independent kitten, I’m finally ready to focus on me—and find a forever home where I can be loved just for being the sweet, playful soul I am. I adore people and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you’re willing to give. I love chasing feather toys and flopping around with my crinkly balls like a goofball. I live with big dogs and other cats in my foster home—if they get too close, I might let out a gentle hiss, but with proper introductions, I think I’ll settle in just fine. You might notice my cute round ears—they were shortened from frostbite, but they’re all healed up now! My foster mom says they make me look like an adorable little mouse, especially with my pink button nose. I recently had a scary vet visit where they discovered a serious infection that could’ve made me very sick—but I pulled through like a champ! I’m healing up beautifully and should be adoption-ready soon. I also have a couple of little bumps on my chin that the vet is keeping an eye on, but they don’t bother me one bit (especially when I’m purring and rubbing my face on you). After everything I’ve been through, I’m ready for a new beginning. If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient girl with a heart full of love—and just the right amount of spunk—I’d love to meet you. Let’s write our next chapter together. 💗
