My name is Scar and I came in as a stray so not much is known about my past, though I’m sure I would have lots of stories to tell you if I could. They say there is a story behind every name and I got my mine because I had a lot of scars and scabs when I came in, looking dirty and dishevelled. Good news is I’m healed up now and I’m ready to find my forever home. I was friendly but very scared when I first came into care, taking solace and hiding behind my bed. But within a short period of time I got used to the kind people that were taking care of me and showering me with love. Slowly I started becoming more brave and venturing out to explore. I’m a very mellow fella, almost an old soul that doesn’t demand a lot of attention or make a lot of noise. I just like being around people and will quietly come up to you to ask to be pet. I’m happy just to lie in the same room where you are, whether it is while you are working or just relaxing. I love sitting by the window and watching everything that is going on outside, so I hope you have a seat reserved for me near one.
