Oh Yoo Hoo!! My name is Petunia and I love you already! I haven’t changed a bit since my foster family brought me home at the beginning of April: I am playful, energetic, and absolutely love to snuggle. As a kitten I am still learning a few boundaries like choosing my scratching posts over carpets, and that I should not strut across the table to say hello to someone. Just like my namesake, Petunia, I too enjoy big potted plants, but since my foster family put down some tinfoil I find I prefer my window cushion instead. I also am very interested in outside, but so far have not been allowed to venture out. I love to chase yarn and feather toys, but also love my downtime by riding around on the shoulders of my new friends. I could spend hours up there! I love to greet everyone and especially enjoy good scritches. Anywhere they can pet me is a good place to be! At night I like to cuddle up with them at the foot of their bed or right up close to their pillow. I can’t remember if I have been around other cats or dogs before coming to SCARS, but my fosters say my demeanor is pretty easy going and so if they’re nice to me, I am probably nice to them. I haven’t quite figured out my cat tower yet, but I sure like to watch the birds outside! That’s my new favourite past time and I am often at the window chittering away at the birds with my tail just a-twitching! My foster family says I would be an excellent addition to any family, and I’m good to go anywhere that loves me and lets me love them.
