A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching an urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contribution will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Velvet came into care as a brave mama, heavily pregnant and ready to give her babies the best start in life. She raised five beautiful kittens – most of whom have now found their forever homes. Now it’s Velvet’s turn to be spoiled and loved the way she deserves. Velvet is an independent soul with a strong personality. She’s not overly playful, but she’ll happily chat with you when she’s in the mood – this girl knows how to speak her mind! If you're looking for a companion with cattitude and confidence, Velvet might just be your perfect match. Velvet is okay around calm dogs but does not get along with other cats, so she would thrive best as the only feline in the home. She enjoys her space and will come to you on her terms – no clinginess here, just pure queen energy.
