SCARS Vehicle Fundrasier!

Our current transport van is in rough shape and we’re in need of a new one!

A Lifeline on Wheels: Our Goal
We’re launching a
n urgent fundraising campaign to purchase a new, dependable transit van equipped for animal rescue. Our goal is to raise $70,000 to cover the cost of the vehicle and necessary modifications for animal transport.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Homes Alive Pets, all donations made through August 2025 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000! This means your contributio
n will have double the impact, bringing us closer to our goal of getting a new rescue van.

Hi, I'm Herman and I am one of a kind with all my fancy wrinkles.. I came to SCARS with an allergic skin condition which will likely need to be treated for the rest of my life, but its just a single pill a day and I take them like a champ I've been doing great and growing my fur back so I'm sure it's manageable. I don't have the greatest manners but I am eager to learn, especially if a hydrolyzed treat is involved. I am great with dogs and I play well with the resident dog. I would probably do best with a calm confident female dog but so far I've liked every dog and human that I've met. I also don't pay any attention to the cat of the house so I'm good with cats too. I have mastered the art of cuddling and my favorite thing to do is have a good snuggle with a sprinkle of snores. I would do best in a home with another dog or if my furever family was around a lot as I'm not used to being alone for long periods of time. But I am the sweetest boy and I promise to give you a lifetime of love!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
