Hi, I’m Ebony. When I first arrived at SCARS I was not doing so well. I had a condition called Pyometra. But the nice vets fixed me up and I’m now on the mend, but I’m still a little sensitive, especially around my back end where my fur is slowly growing back. I’ve met a couple of dogs and am okay with them, but I do prefer my own space. Because of my rough start, I’m not the most social kitty right now, but I’m slowly learning to trust. When I feel safe, I enjoy gentle pets from foster mom, especially when I decide to come out of my cozy hiding spots. I’m a tidy girl, I always use my litter box and scratching post like a pro. If you are patient and willing to five me the time and space I need, I know I’ll come out of my shell and become a loving, loyal companion. Could you be the kind and understanding human I’m waiting for?
