Hello Everyone my name is Indigo and I am very lucky that I came into Scars. I was a pound cat and presented as a wild vicious tiger. I was just afraid, lost and scared. Lucky for me Scars took a chance to help me get a second chance at life. I couldn’t be more grateful. I landed in a great foster home and my foster mom, she wasn’t afraid of me like everyone else was. I was able to get my own space in a home without a bunch of big dogs barking like the pound had. I needed a few days to settle down and come out of shell. Once I had a few days to decompress I came right out of my shell and -insta house cat. No one was able to really handle me for while so once I came out of my shell my foster mom noticed I was very matted up. My long beautiful hair was a hiding a matted mess from a hard stretch of winter and me being dehydrated and not able to groom myself. My foster mom did try to brush out my matts however they were so close to my skin is was pulling too much for me. She took me to the vet where they had to remove my hair so I can grow a new heathly coat. My long hair will grow back and be better than ever. I might even be part Siberian cat who knows. Right now I love to hang out with other cats and be in the living room with my foster family of humans and cats. I also currently enjoy sleeping under the blankets at night. This might change once my hair grows back. I do sleep well on the bed I don’t walk all over my foster parents I just sleep nice all night. I do like to play some, getting more and more relaxed to play. I don’t cause issues with scratching things I shouldn’t and I use my litter box well and don’t make messes and I do love treats. I am looking for a forever home and will love me to the moon and back. Someone to sit on the sofa with at night and wait for to come home during the day.
