Meet Twister, a sweet and playful dog looking for her forever home! Twister had a tough start to life, she came into SCARS care with demodex; a type of mange that left her uncomfortable and itchy but that hasn't stopped her from being an affectionate, fun-loving pup with a heart of gold. She’s been healing in her foster home for the past few months and is now ready to look for an active family or individual that loves outdoor adventures and snuggle time alike. Her name comes from her playful energy and twisty moves during playtime — she loves to run, spin, and have a blast in the yard!

Personality:

• Energetic: Twister enjoys her daily walks, runs, and play sessions. She does well on a leash but will pull and try to greet oncoming dogs. She just loves to make new friends!

• Affectionate: She also knows how to wind down and relax. She loves cuddles, belly rubs, and will often nuzzle up to you for some attention.

• Friendly: Twister is great with people and is eager to make new friends, whether they are human or canine!

• Intelligent: She’s a quick learner and enjoys training sessions, especially when there are treats involved.

• Loyal: Once Twister bonds with you, she will be your devoted companion, offering love and companionship in spades.

Ideal Home:

Twister is house-trained and kennel trained and a super social young dog. She would do well in almost any home but she would thrive in a home with another canine friend so she can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.. She’d do well with an active family or someone who enjoys outdoor activities. A home with children (if there are any) would be great — she is gentle, though she may get a bit too excited during playtime!
