Meet Bluey! 💙 Bluey is a 3-year-old mixed breed boy with the biggest personality and an even bigger heart. He came into our care from a rural community after suffering multiple injuries from an attack, but thanks to our amazing veterinary partners, he healed up quickly and is now thriving. This sweet guy absolutely adores people and lives for affection, snuggles, and being the center of attention. Bluey is fully house trained and will proudly let you know when it’s time to go outside using his… impressive vocal talents (think dramatic screams until you comply 😄). The longer Bluey has been with us, the more lovable quirks we’ve discovered. When he first arrived, he didn’t even know what toys were and was hesitant to play—but now? He’s all about tug-of-war and zooming around with joy. Watching him discover fun has been one of the best parts of his journey. Bluey is highly food motivated—especially if beef liver treats are involved—which makes him a great candidate for continued training. He does well with other dogs and could potentially live with a calm, established female friend, but he’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. One thing to note: Bluey has serious hops and can easily clear a six-foot fence, so he’ll need to be leashed in the yard or under constant supervision when outside.
