Hi, my name is Leo and am a 2-year old boy. I was surrendered by my previous owner as they had to move to a place that does not allow animals. Don't let my large body size intimidate you because my foster parents said I am a gentle giant who is very heathy and in great body shape. It's a little hilarious and embarrassing of me having the "lion cut" right now as I came in very matted and needed to be shaved. No worries, given time, I'll have my lush and majestic long hair grow back. I might be a little shy and confused at first when going to a new environment, but it only took me less than 24 hours to start warming up to my foster parents. So I'll say I am the strong, quiet and independent type who is very sweet and cuddly. I love sitting on my human's lap and watching them work. I am very affectionate as I greeted my humans every morning with my meows and would look deep into their eyes to tell them how much I appreciate their love and care. Interestingly I do not prefer to be picked up but I do listen and follow my human to go back to my own room every night. Being so gentle it's really no surprise that I get along well with the other foster cat here. I would probably do well around cat-savvy kids of any age too. If you want a loyal, gentle and loving companion, look no further, I'll be your best friend in life!
