Hi there, I’m Mildred. I’m an 8-year-old lady with the softest fur and the sweetest soul, just looking for a cozy place to call home. I may be a little older, but that just means I’ve had years to perfect the art of being a loving companion. I do have some medical issues but I'm currently doing well and am on some maintenance medications that, while I don't love taking, I do pretty good with. I will need these medications for the rest of my life and a specific diet food to help keep my tummy full. I’m quiet and gentle, the kind of cat who will curl up beside you as you fall asleep and still be there when you wake up. I especially love those peaceful Sunday mornings, basking in a patch of sun together. I’m affectionate without being demanding — I just really enjoy being near my people. I’m fully litter trained and very polite in the house. I still get a little playful sometimes, especially if you bring out a feathery toy! I get along well with dogs (my foster home has a few), and I’m intrigued by the neighbor cat who lounges on the deck. I think I’d do just fine with a feline friend too although I would definitely need to be policed around their food as I often try and sneak the dog food here.
