Hi there, I’m Mildred. I’m an 8-year-old lady with the softest fur and the sweetest soul, just looking for a cozy place to call home. I may be a little older, but that just means I’ve had years to perfect the art of being a loving companion. I’m quiet and gentle, the kind of cat who will curl up beside you as you fall asleep and still be there when you wake up. I especially love those peaceful Sunday mornings, basking in a patch of sun together. I’m affectionate without being demanding — I just really enjoy being near my people. I still get a little playful sometimes, especially if you bring out a feathery toy! I get along well with dogs (my foster home has a few), and I’m intrigued by the neighbor cat who lounges on the deck. I think I’d do just fine with a feline friend too although I would definitely need to be policed around their food as I often try and sneak the dog food here. I’m fully litter trained and very polite in the house. I’m on special food for my tummy — nothing too fancy, just something that helps keep me feeling good. I’ll likely need to stay on it, but aside from that, I’m as low-maintenance as they come.
