Every SCARS journey is about compassion, kindness, love and laughter. My journey started when someone saw me limping along the side of the road, stopped and took me to a vet. They contacted SCARS who took me in even though they are overwhelmed with rescues. I was neutered and treated for broken toes, fleas and worms. I also needed to gain some weight. My healing continued at my foster home where I went from a few weeks of bed rest to limited activity and, finally, to a complete recovery. My foster family was patient with me as I clobbered around in my cast, stepping on toes and creating general mayhem wherever I went. Personally, I was just happy to be part of the family. I love people and other dogs but may be a bit rambunctious for cats and little tykes. I am now learning my manners and how to walk on a leash, as well as house training. My journey started out ruff but has been pawsitively turned around with the help of SCARS and I am looking forward to next step: finding my furever home.
