My name is Vega (you may remember me as Star from 2018). I want to take some time out of my busy day (napping, mostly) to let you know I am doing really well in my furever home. I had a bit of a rough patch before I got to SCARS, somehow got myself shot at. I wouldn’t be here without the amazing vet and techs who took me in and saw me though two surgeries. The SCARS volunteers took things from there and my foster family gave me a soft place to land. When I was ready to adopt, I found my new pack. It took me a while to really relax and believe I was home. And to learn to play! But now I go to work everyday with my big human, and get lots of walks and hugs from the three others as well. Life is good and I can’t thank you enough. Your donations to SCARS literally gave me a second chance at life. And look at me now!
