Toast originally came to us from Fox Lake at the time of the fires. RCMP asked us for help with the pups and brought them all the way down, but unfortunately they came with parvo. Toast has been struggling with some hip issues and after a lot of consulting with regular vets and specialists both at Guardian and Calgary, we decided that in order for Toast to have a long pain free life she needed a hip replacement. She is the first dog we have done this on and it’s a pretty amazing procedure! Toast is done her surgery and now is with Tricia and Jeff, an amazing foster home!
