Its only been 48 hours and Teegan is already seeing slow improvements. It really is amazing what this antibiotic can do!
From her foster home:
“Fostering a demodex puppy isn’t for the faint of heart. Teegan is full of scabs and infection – the smell alone is nauseating. Her wounds are oozing and her ears are infected. What I find so amazing is how fast this medication works to heal these pups. Day 2 and Teegan is wagging her tail non-stop and exploring the house.”

Meet Teegan, a sweet 7 month old girl who we could not turn away. She is 1 of 3 dogs that came in from a rural pound yesterday. Thankfully, we could get her in immediately to see a vet. Teegan has demodex which is common in many of the dogs that come in. It’s a parasitic mite that lives on dogs, but on an immunocompromised dog, the mites can rapidly increase causing loss of hair and itching which causes secondary skin infections.😢 She is moving to one of our amazing Foster Homes today. ❤️
