Hello SCARS, Well after almost 16 years we had to put Sly down yesterday (May 27/25). We visited your pets in the park in St Albert June 6 or 7 “just to look” at your dogs. Low and behold we found Sly. He was from up north a bit and I remember you saying that he was a hard catch, thus naming him Sly. We couldn’t say no and my wife and I and 3 children went home with Sly. There has not been a day gone by since that Sly has not influenced our lives. The kids left the house but Sly stayed. Yesterday after a week of agonizing over what to do, we took him to the vet and gave him a peaceful transition. We just wanted to take some time and say thank you for supplying us with 16 years of bliss. Well, OK, not the days when he threw up or had accidents in the house, but all the rest.
We will be sending a donation your way shortly. In the meantime, here are one of our first and last pics of Sly.
Lovingly, the Kottke family
