We adopted Sam from SCARS almost a year ago. At the time, Sam was 14 and homeless due to his elderly owner dying. Sam was going to be euthanized but SCARS saved him. Sam is now almost 15 and is doing great!
He has hyperthyroidism and kidney failure, but his health has improved since we got him. He has integrated into our family really well! He is definitely a “people cat” and loves a warm lap! Although he isn’t best friends with our other cats and dogs, Sam lives peacefully with them, occasionally sharing a nap space.
He has brought a lot of joy to our family and is quite the character. Thank you SCARS for giving Sam a second chance.
