Thank you to Thérèse and Hugh for their amazing donation to SCARS through their annual Rutherford Manor Haunt at the end of October 2018. Here is what they had to say about this year’s event….
We would like to thank everyone for making this Haunt season one for the records!
We got over 4,000lbs of non-perishable food, four full boxes of pet items and nearly $4,800 in donations for SCARS! We estimate nearly 5,000 people came by, it was a record year, thanks to all who came out! We are blessed with amazing neighbours, community and volunteers!??
We also have a big shout out for our generous corporate sponsors! Site Resource Group provided safety gear, fencing, etc. keeping our victims and volunteers safe this season!!
A big thanks to our caterer Vaticano Cucina, they kept us all well fed, their meals were AMAZING! We highly recommend you go to this restaurant and enjoy their homemade pasta, breads and pizza. Delicious ???
Also to Infiniti South Edmonton for donating many flats of water for our volunteers! Scare acting is HARD work, staying hydrated to keep your voice for the season is a priority!
