Sometimes in rescue, all we can do is help to end their suffering, that was the case of sweet little Jake.
He was found on the side of the road unable to move with injuries that pointed to the likelihood he’d been run over by a car. Our Vet consulted with the surgeon to to see if there was any possibility that we could save him and give him any quality of life , everyone agreed to keep him comfortable and give him a few days to see if this was truly a spinal cord injury as well as a shattered pelvis. Unfortunately The experts were right and so with their recommendation we have helped Jake to cross the rainbow bridge peacefully.
