Hello everybody, my name is Posie!
I am a pretty playful pup, but it hasn’t always been that way.
SCARS rescued me from one of our partner communities. When they found me, I was very sick with Parvo and was immediately rushed to the Lloydminster vet clinic. I was lucky to survive but they took such good care of me. Then I was taken to my foster home where I had to wait out my health quarantine period. So I agree that quarantine sucks but after long days of watching Netflix with my foster mom and going for walks, I finally got to play with others! I am only 5 months old but I am pretty easy going compared to most other pups. But don’t be fooled. I will chew the occasional shoe and they may have lost two Christmas tree ornaments.
My Foster mom tells me I have those “Puss in Boots eyes.” She says even when I am happy and playing, I look so cute and innocent. It is a very helpful tactic in getting treats, let me tell you! I love cuddling my person. Soon I might be too big to crawl onto your lap, but I assure you that will not stop me. I would fit well in a home with other doggy friends to play with and the ability to play out side often! I am good with cats, farm animals and great off leash!
