Every animal truly has a story, and while we may not always know their past, we can honour their present. From the beginning, it was clear that this dog, who we named Pixel, was in distress, and it breaks our hearts to think of the struggles she faced before finding her way to us.
A huge thank you to Athabasca Veterinary Services for taking the time to see this sweet girl. Sadly, Pixel was in heart failure. It’s never easy to say goodbye, but we knew we had to make the compassionate choice for Pixel to end her suffering. Though we may never know the name she once had, she will always hold a special place in our hearts. May she find peace and joy at the Rainbow Bridge, free from pain and filled with love.
