November 24, 2023 – Warning: Graphic Images Ahead
This cat has been living in a dumpster for at least 8 days with a traumatic injury & she was posted on a community page for someone to help… 9 days ago. Sadly, no one came to her rescue. She’s starving and wounded — her wounds smells necrotic. But yesterday she met her hero! This little girl scooped her up and was able to reach out to a SCARS volunteer to help her to intake her into our program. Yes we are so full, yes we are over capacity, but how does one leave this animal in distress? “Peaches” is going to Lloydminster Animal Hospital this morning to undergo emergency surgery.
