Definitions of serendipity —- noun: good luck in making unexpected and fortunate discoveries,a stroke of luck. 
July 22/25, we were asked to take three orphan baby kittens at only one day old they did not stand much chance of survival.
Unfortunately, on day two we did lose one baby, but on day four by pure serendipity we had a call about a cat who was dumped at a rural store.
The owner asked SCARS to take her as they were closing the store and moving away.
When we picked up Lake we noticed that she had recently been separated from her kittens and had residual milk and cautiously decided to introduce her to the orphans just to see how she would react.
She was in heaven, licking and purring, she loved those babies instantly!
Fast forward a few weeks and her babies are growing like weeds! We are so grateful by this stroke of luck and that our babies could have a mom of their own . Momma Lake and her 2 baby boys are not yet available for adoption but watch for them in the near future.
