NAIT’s 2021 Animal Health Technology class recently donated just over $2,000 to SCARS.
The students began raising these funds before the onset of the pandemic with the intention of making a practicum trip. However, when COVID-19 prevented them from travelling, they decided to help SCARS instead.
We were invited to visit NAIT where we met with students’ Prab and Gabrielle. Mike and alumna, Ceilidh accepted the donation from Gabrielle on behalf of SCARS. We truly appreciate their generosity and congratulate them in advance on their May 2021 graduation. The world needs more compassionate, animal care professionals.
