Hello everyone, my name is Missy and I am new to SCARS.
When the good people of SCARS found me, I was in pretty rough shape. Found living under a deck, I had a considerable limp that made it very hard for me to get around. It was determined that I had a torn ACL in my rear left knee. Ouch.
On June 29, I had surgery to repair it and I am feeling so much better now. It will be a few months before I am chasing squirrels but I am working on it.
My foster mom says I am very quiet, sweet, calm, and kind… aw shucks, that makes me blush a little. I love going for walks and I am working really hard to be good on my leash, but these things take a bit of time. I have been told I can be a bit fussy with my food but what can I say, I like what I like. It has also been said that I am needy with people and don’t like to be too far away from them.
