Last month, one of the communities we work closely with contacted us about a dog that needed medical attention. She had a large abscess on her face and she was very, very thin. Our team organized a volunteer to go up to the community to help this poor girl. Unfortunately, the volunteer wasn’t able to secure her – but he was incredibly dedicated and went back the next day with a live trap. Day two was a success!
Marija was taken to the vet to have her abscess assessed and was put on antibiotics and pain medication. This was only possible because someone stepped up to round-up and transport her and because someone stepped up to help her on her road to recovery.
