Hello SCARS, Just wanted to give an update on our Lita girl (formerly Iris) who we adopted almost 9 years ago from SCARS! When we originally met her, they told us that she wouldn’t do well in a house with cats, probably would be better without young children, would chase birds and rodents, and could jump 7 foot fences. Well, I think the pictures speak for themselves! She is absolutely amazing with our kids, gets along with our cats, and while she occasionally chases the wild turkeys up the tree, she generally leaves them alone. We moved from a fenced yard in Alberta to a farm in Manitoba and she has never left the yard on her own. She is an old girl now (around 11) and has an ACL injury which we are treating with pain meds for the time being, but it doesn’t seem to slow her down! She has been an amazing part of our family and more than we ever could have imagined!
