Sept 15 update on Kujo! Warning Graphic Images of before ahead. If you remember our earlier post about Kujo, our sweet boy who arrived with a horrific neck wound that needed immediate medical attention. Well, we’re grateful to share an update. Kujo has made quite an impression on the veterinary team. He’s been incredibly cooperative and gentle throughout treatment, and the staff can’t say enough about what a sweet patient he’s been. Great news: after many bandage changes, along with debriding and thorough cleaning, Kujo’s neck wound has been able to be closed. His journey isn’t over yet, but the hardest part is behind him. Kujo is now ready to leave the veterinary team and begin the next step of his healing in his foster home. Thank you so much to the team at Pulse Veterinary Specialists for their compassion, skill, and dedication to Kujo. We’re so excited for what’s next for this wonderful boy!
Sept 8/26 – Meet Kujo — so thankful for the help that came in time. Kujo recently needed desperate medical help . We’re not sure whether he was dumped or simply wandered into a yard he didn’t live in. Either way, he was in a serious situation. Thankfully, someone noticed his condition, called us, and a volunteer (Thank you Nitasha Half) immediately drove him to the emergency clinic. While the vets are still not certain what caused his injuries, what they can confirm is that the injury is extensive and he will require daily care for some time until his wound can be surgically closed. The good news? Kujo has been an absolute gentleman. The veterinary staff say he’s a very cooperative, sweet, smart patient. The kind of dog everyone hopes for during a scary time.
