Feb 18 update—He’s come a long way since arriving emaciated and injured. We started with slow, frequent meals to support his healing, and he’s now gaining weight from 57 lbs to 78 lbs with more to go. Korbin is house and crate trained, good on a leash, great with other dogs, and loves people and FOOD.
Feb. 8 update
Korbin is showing us what resilience really looks like. Korbin arrived about a 2 weeks ago in a severely malnourished condition, with deep sores on his front leg joints. He weighed 57 pounds at intake and is now at 65 pounds, steadily gaining strength through small, frequent meals! His wounds are being treated twice daily, and we’re already seeing promising signs of healing—less swelling, less drainage, and better color around the affected areas. Every day, this boy reminds us that love, care, and patience can rewrite a story. Your support is what makes stories like his possible. If you’d like to help us continue caring for Korbin and countless others.

Today,we want to share Korbin’s first day with us. He is one of the many dogs who come through our doors seeking a second chance at life. When Korbin arrived at our animal rescue, he was emaciated and had infected sores on his front leg joints. His condition was a painful reminder of the neglect and abuse that too many animals face.
But despite his hunger and discomfort, Korbin is a happy-go-lucky guy! His infectious spirit shines through, and he’s a true testament to the resilience of these amazing animals.
Sadly, Korbin’s story is not unique. Every day, we encounter dogs like him, suffering in silence and longing for love and care. These animals often come to us in dire conditions, and in many cases, their suffering goes unnoticed.
Together, we can make a difference. By raising awareness about the harsh realities faced by these sweet souls, we can help foster a community that stands against neglect and abuse. Your voice can help us bring attention to the plight of dogs and cats in need and encourage responsible pet ownership.
Join us in spreading the word, supporting our mission, and advocating for animals like Korbin. He may have come to us in pain, but with your help, we can help him heal and find the loving home he deserves.
