Hello SCARS, It’s take me a while to type out this email as the loss of Jeckyl has been substantial in my life. Over thirteen years ago, thanks to SCARS, Jeckyl came into mine and Darren’s life. We were his third home and his final home. I’ve heard some of the SCARS team members refer to him as one of the OG pups you brought in. He was loaded with love and energy and just truly the best of the best. He participated in many SCARS events from helping me as guest speaker at Canines & Cocktails to MC’ing many Tails on the Trails events. It was important for us to continue to give back to the organization that gave us to him.
On December 6th, 2021 we had to say goodbye to our Goobs, our Jecks, Our Monkey Butt, our Jeckyl, our best friend. Our hearts are broken but we’re forever grateful to SCARS for giving him as many second chances as he needed until he could make it to our home.
