SCARS wants to be here for animals now and a long time in the future.
We had to close our intake temporarily during November 2020. Your amazing outpouring of generosity since then has allowed us to continue the mission of saving the most vulnerable. We are once again actively rescuing our furry friends from the cold. Your care and concern have replenished our operating funds to meet our medical and operating costs.
Not only have our immediate expenses been taken care of, but your donations have given SCARS the opportunity to take what has long been a dream to the planning stage for our future vision, a SCARS facility. We are still tallying, but through the support each one of you have given, we have raised $453,000 towards our Fund A Future for our Fur-iends initiative. There are not enough words of gratitude – so we will simply say thank you from our hearts and the wags and purrs of those we are dedicated to help.
The SCARS future is much brighter, just a few short weeks after our world looked a little bleak, and we have you, our loyal supporters, to thank. Every contribution, from every person and business has made a life saving difference. We promise to use your donation dollars wisely.
