We couldn’t say no to “Easter”.This sweet Shepherd cross has been in pain for some time. What appears to be an older injury that caused a fracture in his leg, has turned into a severe bone infection. He is being transported today to our friends at Westlock Veterinary Center today for further assessment but we assume the solution will require amputation.
Thank you to Lloydminster Animal Hospital who did his initial assessment and getting him started with antibiotics and pain killers. We will update as soon as we can.

Update: I wanted to say thank you. We have received so much love and support since we posted about me. As you can see I have had a bit of a rough start where I had a broken leg and was better to amputate as it was left to long and didn’t heal. I like to play alot but am not really sure how, so I wouldn’t mind if I had a confident buddy. I like when dad throws the ball and I drop it at his feet. I don’t have a lot to say, only barked at the squirrel once to come play, but I guess he didn’t want to.I have about another week to go in my foster home & then I’m ready for you world.
