Sept 8, 2026 – We have an update on the mom (Dori) and her 3 puppies (Perch, Betta and Tuna) that were rescued from a dump.
Sadly, the following day after being rescued, two of the pups—the smallest of the three—were taken to the vet with parvo. We lost both girls, whom we named Betta and Tuna. This is a heartbreaking loss that we truly didn’t expect. We believe that between the parasites they likely had, the garbage they ingested, and fighting a deadly virus all at once, it was simply too much for their tiny bodies.
The good news: mom Dory and the largest pup, Perch , are still doing well and are being monitored very closely. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as we continue to fight for their recovery.
